About Me
G.J. Terral
Fantasy Author
Captivated by fantasy from a young age, I’ve taken that love and have attempted to translate it into compelling stories that blend magic with the mundane. Inspired by George R.R. Martin, Patrick Rothfuss, Joe Abercrombie, Brandon Sanderson, and Tolkien in no specific order.
When I’m not writing, my dog thinks I’m an excellent ball thrower, and my cat thinks I’m a mediocre chew toy, but both take advantage of my availability.
Fantasy is silver and scarlet, indigo and azure, obsidian veined with gold and lapis lazuli. Reality is plywood and plastic, done up in mud brown and olive drab.

Power Always Comes at a Cost
“I may not be the man that you thought died saving you, but there can be no doubt that I am the man that has returned to you. Returned for you. I’m proud but not foolish. Tell me you’ll leave with me, or I’ll leave you alone. Tell me that our love meant nothing to you, and I will let that be the truth in my heart.”
